01 – Mediation
Whether you're spiritual or not, mediation be it through prayer or sitting in silence emptying the mind is a powerful tool to overcome the challenges of what life brings from stress, depression, anxiety or uncertainity.
02 - Deep breathing
The benefits of slow deep breathing goes beyond providing your body with oxygen. It decreases anxiety and depression, it increases happiness, imrpoves our sleep and our ability to balance our emotions.
03 - Exercise
Tuning your body through physical activity enhances your cognitive ability. Running releases protein in the brain to improve learning and memory, it also decreases symtoms of depression.
04 - Writing
Keeping a diary of your thoughts can help gain awareness and understanding of one's own thought process, while creative writing can help slow cognitive ageing.
05 - Diet
Eating good food and intermittent fasting can combat anxiety, depression, addiction, and increase cognitive function, learning, memory, and alertness. It also gives your body the fuel it needs to recover and protect your brain cells from damage.
